Cystic compound odontoma in a dog: Diagnosis and management

Tumour of the oral cavity is a rare condition in young animals. The most frequent are odontomas – locally invasive tumours with no metastatic potential. article describes case report 4-month-old male puppy diagnosed mandibular odontoma cystic appearance. Authors present clinical features, histopathological examination and surgical management using deep curettage hydroxyapatite granules deposition. Odontomas can form bone cyst-like structure padded membrane forming denticles. A acceptable method treatment but should be supplied deposition if cyst present.
